I support abolishing ICE and replacing it with a humane system rooted in due process, dignity, and human rights—not fear and cruelty

Most Angelenos are renters, yet Wall Street and corporate landlords are squeezing our communities. While Brad Sherman sided with real estate donors for decades, rents soared and evictions spiked. I’ll fight for a federal rent freeze, a Tenant Bill of Rights, and deeply affordable housing—because homes should be for people, not profit.

Medicare for All:
I support Medicare for All—a universal, publicly funded system that guarantees healthcare as a right, not a privilege. Everyone gets the care they need, free at the point of service.
For those who want supplemental private coverage, that option can still exist. But no one should ever go bankrupt or be denied care in this country.

Health Innovation for the Public Good:
Invest in publicly driven healthcare innovation—like telemedicine, universal electronic records, and preventive care—not to boost profits, but to improve outcomes and expand access.
Tech should serve patients, not corporate shareholders.
